150 satellites created by students…India’s first hybrid rocket flew into space..!

Dr. Abdul Kalam Foundation and Martin Foundation Space Zone India jointly developed the hybrid rocket. 5000 students from classes 6 to 12 jointly built 150 small pico satellites. 2000 government school students were also involved in this.

The 150 student-built satellites were launched this morning from Thiruvidanthai near Mamallapuram on a hybrid rocket. Deputy Governor of Puducherry Tamilisai Soundararajan, ISRO scientist Mylaswamy Annadurai and others participated in this program.
