Create a Qlik Account:

The first step is to create a Qlik account by going to [https://accounts.qlik.com ]and signing up. This will allow you to download and activate Qlik Sense.

Download the Installer:

Once you have an account, go to the Qlik Sense download page at https://www.qlik.com/us/try-or-buy/download-qlik-sense.

For a free or trial version, click the “Free Download” button. Select the version you want to install:

• Qlik Sense Enterprise – For commercial use
• Qlik Sense Business – Free for up to 5 users
• Qlik Sense Desktop – Free for personal use

Fill in your account details and click “Download now“. Select the installer file for your OS:

• Qlik_Sense_setup.msi (for Windows)
• Qlik_Sense_setup.dmg (for Mac)

Install Qlik Sense

Run the installer and follow the on-screen instructions. Accept the license agreement and select an installation location.

Activate your License

After installation, you’ll need to activate your Qlik Sense license. Launch Qlik Sense and click “Activate License” in the top right.

Enter your Qlik account credentials and select the appropriate license from the drop-down. If you have a trial license, it will be listed here.

Configure Qlik Sense Services
Configure the Proxy, Sessions, and Schedules Services settings to your needs. You can leave the default options for now.

Create Your First App
Click “Create New App” to start building your first Qlik Sense app. Select Sheet, Line, or Bar Chart as the initial visualization.

Add Some Data
Click “Add data” and select a data file (e.g. .csv, .xlsx) to connect to your data sources. Qlik will then load the data and you can start visualizing it on your app.
