It is an artificial intelligence powered image generator. It is aimed at the goal of “higher visibility” on the search engine. It uses OpenAI’s Dall-E, an AI chatbot.
With this you can type words and create an image. That is, if they want an image, users just need to type in what kind of image they want. An image will be created. Bing is the first search engine to add an image creation tool. It allows users to create text and visuals in one place.
Microsoft posted a blog about the new tool. It says, โWe’re bringing Bing Image Creator to new AI visual stories and new Bing and Edge previews. It is powered by an advanced version of the DALLรขหโขE model from our partners at OpenAI. This Bing Image Creator lets you create the image you want to see, using your own words.’
