How to activate UPI Lite feature in Pohnpe app? PhonePay users can easily activate the UPI Lite feature without any KYC authentication. Open the PhonePay app on your phone and click on the option to enable UPI Lite on the Home Screen.

Then enter the amount you want to add to UPI Lite and select your bank account. Then enter your UPI PIN Number. That’s it your UPI Lite account is successfully created.

What is the maximum amount that can be added to a UPI Lite account? According to Pohnpey, up to Rs.2000 can be added to the UPI Lite account created on the Pohnpey app. Only Rs.200 or less can be sent at a time. As a reminder, another competitor of Paytm, another competitor of Paytm, had introduced a similar feature two months ago.
