Do you have the PhonePe app on your smartphone, but don’t use it often? Instead, do you often use the Google Pay app, abbreviated as GPay? If yes.. may not happen like that anymore!
From now on you can use PhonePay app more than Google Pay. Because the Bonpay app has introduced a cool feature of paying for “rushes”. What is that feature? So what’s the use for us? How to activate that feature? Here are the details:
What such feature is included in phonepay app? One of India’s leading UPI payment apps, Bonpay has introduced a new feature called UPI Lite. UPI Lite is a feature that helps you conduct small cash transactions quickly and easily.
To put it more clearly, under the UPI Lite feature, you can make quick transactions up to Rs. 200 without typing the PIN Number. Bonbay believes that this feature will not only improve user experience but also reduce transaction failures.
How does UPI Lite work? According to Bonpay, the new UPI Lite feature will not be linked to the real-time systems of the banks where you have an account. Instead, it allows payments to be made using the balance stored in the UPI Lite Account.
It is faster and smoother than regular UPI transactions with banks. And as mentioned earlier, since this transaction is done through the UPI Lite account, there is no need to enter the pin number to do this.
Where can the UPI Lite feature be used? With the support of all major banks, any UPI merchant or QR code across the country can use UPI Lite on Ponnpay to make payments, Ponnpay said.
How to activate UPI Lite feature in Pohnpe app? PhonePay users can easily activate the UPI Lite feature without any KYC authentication. Open the PhonePay app on your phone and click on the option to enable UPI Lite on the Home Screen.
Then enter the amount you want to add to UPI Lite and select your bank account. Then enter your UPI PIN Number. That’s it your UPI Lite account is successfully created.
What is the maximum amount that can be added to a UPI Lite account? According to Pohnpey, up to Rs.2000 can be added to the UPI Lite account created on the Pohnpey app. Only Rs.200 or less can be sent at a time. As a reminder, another competitor of Paytm, another competitor of Paytm, had introduced a similar feature two months ago.
